3 questions for...

Mr. Otto Loserth
E-WALD GmbH
www.e-wald.eu

“E-WALD, e-carsharing operator in rural areas with 200 e-vehicles and more than 150 public charging stations with 600 outlets”

What are your services, you are specialized in?

E-WALD GmbH is the leading provider for e-mobility systems in Germany. The company has four business units. The first one offers a fleet of EV for short and long term rentals, as well as e-carsharing concepts. The infrastructure unit offers the operation and service of charging stations for commercial and private use. The consulting unit develops mobility and charging concepts, pursuing the use of renewable energies and CO2-neutral use of EV. The unit mobility as a service puts on the market full systems of EV and charging stations, ready to be used by external partners.

E-WALD GmbH provides products and solutions for the growing market of e-mobility nationwide. The company relies on local partners and on the use of electric power from renewable energy sources.

You have been in the market for many years now. How are you perceived by the local authorities? Do they support you?

E-WALD cooperates with municipal and private partners in order to improve the mobility of tourists and locals through the integration of existing public transport services. Clients from whole Germany already rely on our services. Rural districts, cities and municipalities are enthusiastic about our work.

E-WALD GmbH has 105 partners: 89 municipalities, 6 rural districts and 10 private companies. The company is also actively supported by the local authorities. Especially in e-carsharing, we work very closely with them to provide a smooth service for the customers.

What is your most important management task in the next 12 months?

There are three things that are important. Since its founding three years ago, E-WALD GmbH has experienced a structural and entrepreneurial sustainable growth without external financing risks, achieving annual growth rates of 50%. This is possible only with enthusiastic employees, enjoying their tasks and going the extra mile.

Technology development is a very important part: the development of an optimized system scope for the accurate calculation of the vehicle range has already delivered excellent results. The reservation function for charging stations and a project for inductive charging of electric vehicles are in the agenda for this year.

The main focus is to maintain, through an outstanding customer service, the satisfaction and the enthusiasm of our customers at a very high level. Satisfied customers are the best advertisement.
